Big Data: from data miner to data scientist
Big Data took a dominating place in the life of IT and statistician specialist. To work on these data, some very wide-spread tools are not effective any more: relational database management system (storage), SQL requests (reading/writing), R (statistical treatment).
Firstly we will introduce what we hear by “Big Data”. After we will see the limits of each of the previous tools and then we will try to answer these questions: Why and when can we use database NoSQL? Is Spark better than Hadoop? MapReduce, all right, but can we apply it in every case?
